About Nick

After starting out as an editor in Washington DC, working on a State Department-funded Arabic-language publication while freelancing for The Washington Post and Washington City Paper, Nick moved to New York to become an editor for the late Doubledown Media (Trader Monthly, Dealmaker, Private Air and The Cigar Report magazines), and a combination freelancer, ghostwriter and copyeditor. He’s now a staff editor for eWeek.com, reporting on hardware and Web 2.0.

His other writing credits include WebMD, Washington Flyer, Maryland Life, AARP the Magazine, AutoWeek, Playboy, and DC Style. He tweets, for better or worse, at twitter.com/nickkolakowski.
